2023 Tour of Honor sites released 

The Tour of Honor organizers have released the list of memorials for the 2023 edition of the self-guided road riding initiative, which includes seven sites in Ohio.  

The Buckeye State sites are: 

  • Vietnam War Memorial, 232 Northland Dr., Medina 
  • Vietnam War Memorial, 101 E High Ave., New Philadelphia 
  • Pat`s Café Vietnam Mural, 225 2nd St., Portsmouth 
  • Vietnam Veterans Mural, 12135 Blaine St., Scott 
  • “Sky Pilot” Vietnam Memorial, 123 Courthouse Plaza, Wauseon 
  • Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Eden Park, 986 St. Paul Dr., Cincinnati 
  • Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Fostoria Fountain Cemetery, 702 Van Buren St., Fostoria

The list of memorial sites was made available April 1 – the first day of the about six-month window during which participants may visit as many memorials as they choose. The last day of the 2023 Tour of Honor is Oct. 31. 

The Tour of Honor first took place in 2011 was awarded the AMA’s Recreational Road Riding Organizer of the Year Award in 2020. Organizers release a different list of memorials each year that include multiple sites in each of the 50 states. 

Certificates and awards are given out to riders who achieve various milestones, including being among the first three to visit all the memorials in a given state or region.  

Registration for the 2023 Tour of Honor is $150 for riders and $135 for passengers – which includes a $30 donation to a charity, a flag, patch, stickers, t-shirt and more. 

The Tour of Honor also offers other self-guided tours on its website, including its Huey Helicopters and War Dogs and K9 Heroes tours.
