There’s just a few days left to check out the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum’s “Open Road” exhibit. The second and final installment of the museum’s “Year of the Motorcycle” initiative concludes on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Titled “Open Road: The Lure of Motorcycling in Ohio,” the exhibit opened in April and features dozens of motorcycles that have a connection to the Buckeye State — such as belonging to a motorcycle collector from Ohio, having been designed by an Ohio company or having been raced by an Ohioan.
The Open Road exhibit was preceded by “The Century of the American Motorcycle” – a traveling exhibit that was on loan from the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Ala.
The Crawford museum is part of the Cleveland History Center – which is operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society – and is located at 10825 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
